چکیده
In the conventional weighted Gerchberg-Saxton (GS) algorithm, feedback is used to accelerate convergence. However, it will lead iteration divergence. To solve this issue, an adaptive GS algorithm proposed in paper. By replacing with our designed feedback, convergence can be ensured method. Compared traditional method, method improves peak signal-noise ratio of reconstructed image 4.8 dB on average. Moreover, approximate quadratic phase suppress artifacts optical reconstruction. Therefore, a high-quality without Argument Reality device. Both numerical simulations and experiments have validated effectiveness

Development of a doubly weighted Gerchberg-Saxton algorithm for use in multibeam imaging applications.
We report on the development of a doubly weighted Gerchberg-Saxton algorithm (DWGS) to enable generation of uniform beamlet arrays with a spatial light modulator (SLM) for use in multiphoton multifocal imaging applications. The algorithm incorporates the WGS algorithm as well as feedback of fluorescence signals from the sample measured with a single-photon avalanche diode (SPAD) detector array....
متن کاملMultiple-image encryption and multiplexing using a modified Gerchberg-Saxton algorithm and phase modulation in Fresnel-transform domain.
What we believe to be a new technique, based on a modified Gerchberg-Saxton algorithm (MGSA) and a phase modulation scheme in the Fresnel-transform domain, is proposed to reduce cross talks existing in multiple-image encryption and multiplexing. First, each plain image is encoded and multiplexed into a phase function by using the MGSA and a different wavelength/position parameter. Then all the ...
متن کاملHybrid phase retrieval using moment-based wavefront sensing and Gerchberg-Saxton iterative transform method
The iterative phase retrieval method has the intrinsic weakness in computational speed. However, its ability to capture fine spatial phase structure is clearly the benefit much needed in characterizing image quality of an instrument in an end-to-end fashion. The empirical wisdom of any iterative process is that the convergence becomes a lot faster when the initial guess is close to the phase so...
متن کاملExperimental demonstration of holographic three-dimensional light shaping using a Gerchberg–Saxton algorithm
We use a three-dimensional Gerchberg–Saxton algorithm (Shabtay (2003) Opt. Commun. 226 33) to calculate the Fourier-space representation of physically realizable light beams with arbitrarily shaped three-dimensional intensity distributions. From this representation we extract a phase-hologram pattern that allows us to create such light beams experimentally. We show several examples of experimen...
متن کاملPhase-Only Adaptive Nulling with a Genetic Algorithm
This paper describes a new approach to adaptive phase-only nulling with phased arrays. A genetic algorithm adjusts some of the least significant bits of the beam steering phase shifters in order to minimize the total output power. Using a few bits for nulling speeds convergence of the algorithm and limits pattern distortions. Various results are presented to show the advantages and limitations ...
